So its been a while. There is a perfectly good explaination... the Angry Birds got me. Yup, you heard me right. First though a little background.
Amy and I have consistently been about 5 years behind the newest and greatest in the cell phone game. Just the way its been. Coupled with that, I call and do a little texting... ok once or twice I sucked it up on the bill and checked the football scores at church (itty bitty screen, much concentration), but that is it. Now, even on the most ancient of phones there are neat little things like calculators, notes, calendars, all kind of neat little things that could help me through the day. I'm literally one step up from knockin Amy on the head with a club and draggin her home in regards to cell phones. Its like I think the rotary dial is the next best thing since sliced bread and egg noodles.
So, last friday I got my work phone. Talk about going from caveman to "beam me up Scotty." I can't beleive I just said that... if you want to irritate me, say that phrase to me and genuinely think you are funny. I've heard that since the second grade, almost 30 years of it, let it rest.
Where was I? Oh yes, friday I got my work phone. Its the IPhone 4 for Verizon. Holy Crap Man!!!! I've been going goo-goo over the technology ever since. My wife is shocked I didn't get the phone a card for Valentine's Day. There's an app for that. One word of caution, speaking of apps... if you plan on getting your kid one of these hot-rod phones... there's apps that aren't for them.
So what does Angry Birds have to do with my phone and what does that have to do with where I've been? Check the link below.

This is one of the most addictive games. My kids love to watch me play it. Amy burns little songbirds in our yard in revenge. Good Times!
Enjoy your day!
BTW, I did fix my sink, clean my garage, attend church and spend some time with Amy... the phone had to charge!!! (Kiddin, take a breath!)
Beam me up Scotty... Hahahahaha!
